Proverbs 21:31 KJV — “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: But safety is of the LORD.“
Let us get down to work by balancing prayer and preparation. Remember that horses are prepared for the day of battle but victory is of the Lord. As we step into the coming year, let us balance praying for the will of God and preparing for the will of God.
Pray concerning the will of God as Jesus did and pray for the will to be done.
I will encourage you to pray for the will of God but beyond praying; prepare to do the will of God. Jesus taught in
Luke 12:47 KJV — “And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.“
You must seek to know, prepare and do according to the will of God.
The challenge with today’s generation is many of those praying are not preparing and many of those preparing are not praying. We need a generation of men and women who will both pray and prepare to do according to the will of the Lord.
This is the time to get to work. We must decide to abound with the work of the Lord. We will build and the God of heaven will help us.
Stay blessed
