[Matthew 16:18 KJV] “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.“
God can build His church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. He can but He qants to partner with you in this building process. We are co-labourers with Him (See 1 Corinthians or 3:6-9).
God can build His church when He finds a people who;
- Believe in Him and in His prophets sent to them. That is how they will prosper and be established.
- Recieve the word preached to them with gladness. The word preached is the seed of faith, anointing, and miracles. (See Romans 10:17; Galatians 3:5)
- Are baptized and added to the church to continue steadfastly in prayer, doctrine, and fellowship. Jesus said “if you continue in my word, then are you my disciples.
- Honour Him with their lives and give their substance for kingdom advancement . We know that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to a people. Sin destroys a people.
- Volunteer for kingdom advancement. 1 Peter 2 indicates that we are the lively stones that are built together into a spiritual house.
God can build His church. A church that will crush darkness and honour Him. God can and will. This is the day and time and we will witness the building and advancement of the church.
