2 Peter 3:17-18 KJV — Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. [18] But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
If you are recently born again, then I want to exhort you to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, lest you fall away from your steadfastness.
The simple secrets to guide you to grow in grace and remain steadfast are:
Get down on your knees and pray daily
Getting on your knees to pray is not just about the prayer; but the art of learning to be humble and submitted. There are various forms and postures of prayer we must understand.
Read your Bible everyday
You need revelation to grow roots. You must read the Bible everyday. When we search the scriptures, we find light. When you read and meditate on the word you increase in the knowledge of the Lord.
Offer your body as a living sacrifice and your members as instruments of righteousness
The third step is to offer your body and its members on earth as a living sacrifice and instruments of righteousness. Your legs should go where God wants to go and your hands must touch whom the Lord wants to touch. We must see only what God wants to show, and speak to whom God desires to speak to.
Yielding our members as instruments of righteousness makes us partners with God.
Worship in spirit and in truth
God is a spirit and we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. There is no way you can effectively serve God with your senses. We must learn to worship God in spirit and in truth.
This is the time and now is the season. Stop pretending and start serving God in spirit and in truth.
Stay blessed
