Proverbs 4:20-27 KJV — My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. [21] Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart. [22] For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh.
[23] Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.[24] Put away from thee a froward mouth, And perverse lips put far from thee. [25] Let thine eyes look right on, And let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
[26] Ponder the path of thy feet, And let all thy ways be established. [27] Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil.
My seed for today is to guard your spiritual portals, this is because there are many spirits in this world seeking to gain access and influence. We are surrounded by a barrage of human spirits, evil spirits, spirit of things and the Holy Spirit. You must be careful what you allow to influence you! May you operate under the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit!
One of the key things that influence every man is the information and data we collect through our senses. What we taste, see, hear, feel, and smell. The human spirit has portals and these portals are the senses. What you catch or receive massively influences you. If there are two things you can do to keep you safe is to:
1. Be careful what you hear
Mark 4:24 KJV — And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
2. Be careful how you hear
Mark 4:24 KJV — And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
What you hear and receive influences the way you think. When you feed your mind and heart on the word and promises of God, you receive more faith to follow patiently. When you learn to fix your thoughts on the things that are true and lovely, you get better with life. Apostle Paul teaches that quality thinking leads to a quality life! He went further to teach us what qualifies thought as good quality.
Philippians 4:8-9 KJV — Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. [9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
May the Lord help you to think in a quality way and keep you from getting polluted by evil people!
Stay blessed!
