The Lord Jesus Christ taught that His house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer. That is time say that the Lord explained to them what the house of God must represent in the minds and consciences of the people all nations.

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves (Mark 11:17 KJV)

This devotional seeks to establish this claim by the prophet and our Lord Jesus Christ; the house of God shall be called of all nations a house of prayer. 

What does it mean to be called of all nations a house of prayer?

In simple language, the house of God shall represent a house of prayer in the conscience and minds of the nations. It means that the house of God shall be run in such a way that the nations shall testify among themselves that it is a house of prayer. How then have the custodians turned it into a den of thieves.

What is a den of thieves?

It is the stronghold of thieves; a place to expect to be robbed if your entered there by mistake. What a contrast!  How on earth have we turned the very place that represent a monument of prayer to our God, into a den of thieves.

I speak as a prophetic voice in these end times to the church and to the generations of Christians to arise and redeem the image of the church. The glory of the house of God must be restored. We must rise up as men and women of God and work for the restoration of the identity of the church.

It’s time to make the house of God safe again. We must arise and drive out evil. This house must resound with confessions, worship, service, ministry, request, separation unto God; this is what prayer is all about.

Rise up oh men and women of God! Let us gather in this house with one accord; one accord to worship; to confess our sins and faith; to make our request known unto God; to serve and minister in prayer at the altar of grace; to be separated unto godliness. This house must be called of all nations a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:1-9)

May the Lord cleanse His church! May the Lord restore glory to this house! May God rain upon us again! May the glory of God fill our souls again!

Fall on your face and repent! Let’s cry out to God for restoration! May Heaven have mercy on us! May we experience God in His house! You shall not just know the scriptures; you will experience the scriptures!
