[Ephesians 1:13-23 KJV] “In whom ye also trusted , after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, [14] Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory”.

[15] “Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, [16] Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; [17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: [18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, [19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, [20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places , [21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: [22] And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, [23] Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all”.

When it comes to the Holy Spirit, there are two main challenges that many in the Christian community face; either they don’t know how to be filled with the Holy Spirit, or how to profit by the Holy Spirit. Even though many in the church are anointed by the Holy Spirit, they do not know how to advance further in life on the wings of the eagle. The Holy Spirit is our Helper and Comforter; and we should be able to ride on His wings to success and impact.

It is one thing to be filled with the Spirit and another level altogether to advance by the anointing. Apostle Paul began to pray for the church when he heard of their faith and love for the saints. It one thing to be sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, and another thing to know how to make profit by the Spirit.

You will advance by the anointing when you are also filled with the Spirit of wisdom and the revelation of Him.

You will advance by the anointing when the eyes of your understanding is enlightened and you begin to comprehend;

The hope of our calling in ChristThe riches of the Christ glory andThe exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe.

These are the key factors that will cause us to advance by the anointing. Many of God’s precious children are anointed but they are not smart. We do not walk in the spirit of wisdom. It is important to recieve the Spirit of Wisdom and be guided by her.

I pray for you that God will give you the Spirit of Wisdom, and that the eye of your understanding may be enlightened. I pray that we shall all know and comprehend the hope of the Christ calling, the riches of His glory, and the exceeding greatness of His power towards us. This will settle our hearts and give us the boldness to wait for His power. Be blessed!
