[2 Corinthians 10:3-7 KJV] “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)”
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Do ye look on things after the outward appearance?”
“If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.”
I want to exhort you on how to break through satanic strongholds. We must understand that strongholds are fortified hideouts. Satanic strongholds are, however, satanic fortified hideouts in your life. There are the things that serve as hiding places for evils spirits in your life.
The text above reveals five of such things:
- Imaginations
- High things that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God
- Thoughts
- How you look at things
- Who you obey
These are the five key things that form strongholds in your life. You can breakthrough satanic barriers when you allow the word of God to sort what you imagine, learn, think, how you look at things, and who you obey. These are the key things that will help you to break through strongholds and win the war.
One of the biggest mistakes you can make is to allow what you see to form the basis of your perception of reality. The truth remains that there is more to life than what you see and handle. There is a vast invisible world that we must wake up to; hence the need to press to see beyond appearances.
I pray that you will refine your imaginations, knowledge, thoughts, perceptions, and allegiance by the word of God. You must allow Christ and the word to determine how you think and live. Your mind and heart and eyes are the major gates that must be guarded.
I pray that you guard your hearts and minds and senses with godly jealousy. Be careful what you allow into your heart and mind and sense to touch.
