[Numbers 23:18-24 KJV] “And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor: [19] God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it ? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? [20] Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. [21] He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. [22] God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn. [23] Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought! [24] Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain”.
I want to exhort you today about the need to galvanise yourself against curses and enchantments. The truth is so many of us are producing below our full potential because of the active operation of curses and enchantments. Many of us have become susceptible to demons and demonic possessions because we are allowing curses and enchantments to operate in our lives. I believe with all of my heart that this is the time to galvanise yourself against curses. There is wickedness in the world and many are suffering from the blunt of darkness, but I trust that you can arise and neutralise curses and enchantments.
The following are 7 simple things you can do to galvanise yourself against curses and to neutralise its operation in your life;
1. Be born again:
The new birth entitles you to redemption from the curse of the law
[Galatians 3:13 KJV] “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”
2. Continue in the word:
Never despise the word of God in your life. Balaam could not curse Israel because the word of the Lord was among them. The word of the Lord was guiding them so strongly.
3. Turn away from perversion:
Perversion makes us susceptible to curses and enchantments. Balaam could not curse Israel because there was no perversion in them. The blood of the lamb had purged them for a season. I pray that the blood of the Lamb shall purge you of all perversion in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Stir up the shout of the king in your life:
Doing the right things will help but stirring up the shout of the king among you will really galvanise you against enchantment!
5. Practice the presence of God:
Live your life knowing that God is watching and God has eyes to see. He sees you in the dark and in the light. He sees you in public and in private. To practice the presence of the Lord is to walk in the continuous consciousness that God is ever-present and all-knowing.
6. Bring forth fruits that are beneficial and pleasing to those who nurture and cultivate you:
[Hebrews 6:7-8 KJV] “For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: [8] But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned”.
7. Maintain a spiritual warfare posture:
These are the simple keys to galvanise yourself against curses.
Be blessed, I love you
