[Acts 4:23-24, 31-33 KJV] “And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.”
“And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:”
“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”
“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.”
“And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.“
Our prayer meeting are going to take the format of Acts 4:23. When we gather together we will;
- Exhort yourself with the word of God
- Minister to the Lord with singing
- Pray through your pray list
- Step out and act on the prayer
We know that faith without works is dead. I want to encourage the church to act on what we pray. We pray because we believe; but we must act after we have prayed. The meetings will follow four simple items: Reading, Ministering, Praying, Acting.
We are going to observe three key prayer times||Evening, morning, noon. Make a date with me at 5am, 12noon, and 6pm. We want to spend the day praying. God will help us!
Prayer points
- Thank God for the gift of life! Bless Him for this beautiful day and for His grace.
- Pray that the Lord will give you understanding into His word. Pray that God will establish His word in your heart!
- Pray that the Lord will deliver you from every miry clay and horrible pit. May the Lord put a new song in your mouth; even His songs of praise!
- May the Lord stir up in us the grace and Spirit of Prayer. May you never lack a passion for prayer!
- Pray for every necceassary gift and grace to win in life. Recieve the gifts and grace.
