[Exodus 15:26 KJV] “and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”
There are three things we seek in these healing services:
- Healing of infirmities
- Restoration of things lost through infirmity
- Divine health
We are trusting God that any person that is sick will be healed, any person who has lost anything because of infirmities shall receive a restoration, and the rest of us will walk in Divine health. None of us will tolerate sickness and infirmities in our lives in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Though God is the one who heals us; He does it by the virtue or anointing of the Holy Spirit. The anointing does not heal; God is the healer but the anointing is the active agent by which healing occurs.
[Romans 8:11 KJV] “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
[Luke 6:19 KJV] “And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all”.
How to walk in Divine health
The Holy Spirit is very important in the ministry of healing and liberation. If you want to walk in healing, restoration, and wholeness, then strive to do the following;
- Maintain fellowship with the Holy Spirit
- Hearken diligently to the word of God
- Pay attention to what you eat (Paul admonished Timothy to drink only wine)
- Delegate subsidiary matters to faithful people (Jethro counselled Moses to appoint elders to serve with him)
- Eschew evil and speak healing (1 Peter 5:10)
- Call the elders to anoint and pray over you, if ever you are sick; in the case where the elders can’t make it, receive aprons from the body of the man of God (Acts 19:12-14)
Stay blessed
