Luke 11:10-13 KJV — For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. [11] If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? [12] Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? [13] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
The first step to walk in the supernatural is to believe in Jesus Christ:
The Bible teaches in John 7:37-39, that rivers of living water shall flow out of the belly of those who believe in Jesus Christ. This is the Holy Spirit which those who will believe shall receive according to the promise of the Father.
The second and very important step to the supernatural is to ask the Father to give you the Holy Spirit:
You must ask. Remember, the Holy Spirit is a person and would not force himself on you or anyone. He only goes where he is invited. The early church prayed and waited on him for 10 full days. If you want to meet the most important person on earth today, the Spirit of Truth and the Great Comforter, then you must ask the Father to give Him to you.
The third step to the supernatural is to wait until you are endued with power from on high:
This is where many of us get it wrong. The Holy Spirit is God and we must be willing to wait on Him. Luke 24:48, the Lord instructed the early to wait until they were endued with power from on high.
The fourth step is to acknowledge his presence:
Those who walk in the supernatural acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit. You can’t ignore Him and expect Him to work. You can’t be indifferent about His presence. We must desire the manifest presence to see the Holy Spirit at work daily.
