Luke 13:20-22 KJV — And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? [21] It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. [22] And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
Every great impact begins with a small step and little progress. Even the oak began from the acorn. You can make an impact when you start from where you are with what you have.
It’s important to understand that great impact is a journey and it begins with the right seed. The kingdom is like a woman that took leaven and hid it in a measure of meal; the faith lessons here is the fact that the woman took the right input and hid it in the right machinery. If the woman had taken salt and hid it in water; she would have produced a brine solution and not a leavened dough.
Inasmuch as I believe that impact is a journey, I believe that;
- You must have clear godly visions to start with. Where there is no vision the people perish. You must know what exactly God wants done and follow it.
- You must use the right inputs for the right system to produce the right results. The woman put the leaven in the measure of the meal. She was diligent enough to know what to do.
- You must have the patience to complete every step of the journey. Your impact and progress is a journey and you must complete it stagewise.
May the Lord help and give you the courage to run the race of time and make an impact. May you see the impact of your effort amplified by the supernatural input. May you never regret starting small and advancing steadily. May the Lord bless your effort in the name of Jesus Christ!
Amen
