Matthew 5:13-16 KJV — Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
You were created for a purpose and you must fulfil that purpose. You are a new creation; made and equipped to shine as lights in a crooked and perverse generation. The Bible teaches that you are the light of the world and the salt of the earth; we must be intentional about influencing the world with our light and good works.
There is a whole generation of men waiting for your manifestation; in your light, they will find light. This is the time to arise and let your light shine. I believe this is the time and the moment to illuminate your world.
Influence your circle and household with your light (good works)!
In Matthew 5:13-15, the Bible teaches that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are called and ignited to shine as lights in a crooked and perverse generation. We are called and we must shine as lights. You are the light of the world, catch the fire and be intentional about shining and influencing territories with your good works.
May the Lord anoint us with fresh fire and oil for influence. Receive fresh fire and oil to stay relevant and influential!
There is a world waiting out there to see your example. Many are confused and many are in the valleys of decision. May you be a good example to them in the name of Jesus Christ. We should be the Christ of the world. This is the time to re-present Christ Jesus to them as their example. This is the call the church must fulfill.
