[Luke 8:1-4 KJV] “And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, [2] And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, [3] And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. [4] And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:”
Every ministry begins with a person or minister. Every great ministry always begins with that anointed servant who is committed to obey the Lord in every way possible.
The minister begins by fulfilling all righteousness to be anointed with the Holy Ghost. The Lord went to John to be anointed by the Holy Ghost. He fulfilled all righteousness to be baptized in water and in the Holy Ghost.
The second stage is the stage of waiting, amidst temptation, to be anointed by the Holy Ghost. The Lord was led by the Holy Ghost to the wilderness; there, He fasted and was tempted by the devil for 40 days and nights. He returned in the Spirit and power and began to preach in the marketplaces and the shores of the cities.
The third stage of growth and increase was when He began to preach in every city and village: as a ministry, we are at this stage now. We skipped it but we must go back there. This is the time to go myself; though I have raised sons and daughters, many of you are not loyal, matured or fully committed. It is time to go out myself and preach the gospel, show the glad tidings, leading the team of men and financiers.
The fourth stage of expansion is sending the core twelve to preach; the 70 into cities where I will myself go.
This is the time and the season for going through every city and village. It is our season and nothing will stop us. We must arise to preach and show the glad tidings of the kingdom. Be blessed!
