Hebrews 13:8-9 KJV — Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. [9] Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
One day a man of God was asked on arrival to a certain city from a massive crusade, what is your message for the church family? He had a simple but profound answer for them; he said “Jesus Christ is the same! He is the same, yesterday, today and forever”.
As you are reading this, there is one truth I want you to remember; that Jesus Christ is the same as He was preached in the Bible. He is the same today and forever. Whatever Jesus Christ did in the Bible days, He is doing same today, and can do it now if we can believe as they did. If the same gospel is preached, it will produce the same results if it is mixed with the same faith in us.
Hebrews 4:1-2 KJV — Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. [2] For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
The gospel will produce the same results, if it is mixed with the same faith in us. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. He changes not! He still works the same miracles when approached with the same faith. If He didn’t cleanse many lepers, because they did not believe; He can’t cleanse many lepers today unless we believe. If He raised the dead then, He would still raise the dead now! Jesus Christ is the same! Praise the Lord!
If we despise and dishonour Him as they did in Mark 6:1-6, the gospel will be as powerless as it was then. Jesus Christ does not change, the effect of the gospel depends on the faith we mix it with. What matters is your faith in the word.
Don’t be carried away by diverse and strange doctrines
Don’t let your heart be carried about by the diverse winds of doctrine. Most of these new teachings perish with use. It will not last.
Let your heart be established with grace
Grace will sustain and carry you through. The grace of God sustains more than meat, which perish with use.
Fight to stay in the faith
Jesus Christ does not change. He will not change! Stay strong and be constant.

Thank you Lord for grace. I have the grace of God. I have help! I will not fail.
I rebuke any power or evil spirit that is stopping the work of grace in my life. I command you to fall now in the name of Jesus Christ!
Go! ministering spirits to fetch grace for me. Angels of God be at work and minister for me.
