Luke 1:1-4 KJV — Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, [2] even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;
[3] it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, [4] that thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
The Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Many of us are following things we have not proven. We are subscribing to creeds that are not biblical because we have not read the Bible on its own pages. I believe the time has come for us to know the certainty of the things in which we have been instructed. There are many charlatans parading around as preachers affirming things they don’t know.
My question today is “do you know the certainty of what you have believed?” Did God really say so? Can it be found in the scriptures? Let today mark the beginning of knowing the certainty of what you believe. You will do far better when you believe the truth. God is not committed to what He has not said. God will do what He has said. It is only His word that will not return to Him void. Presumption is not faith; you must hear what God said and that is how faith comes.
The Bible was written for our learning. Spend time reading the Bible; and read on it’s own pages. The Ethiopian eunuch found faith, when he read the Bible. Philip only explained what he had read. May the Holy Spirit teach us all truth. The times are dangerous and it is too risky to swallow what another person claims to have read. You must search the scriptures and be sure that what you are reading is in the Bible.
Let us learn from men who have a perfect understanding of what is mostly believed among us. This is the time to take responsibility and read the word for yourself. Come with me as I take you on a journey to find what the Bible truly says.
Stay blessed!
