John 10:3-4 KJV — To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. [4] And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
The seed for today is to let God lead. The Bible tells us that the porter opens the door for the shepherd; Jesus Christ is the good shepherd and if there is anything you may commit yourself to doing today, let Him lead.
When you allow God to lead, He will;
- Lead you away from temptations: He will go before and make a way even where there seems to be no way. He will lead you and you will never regret following.
- Lead you besides the stilled waters: You will find peace and calm even in the midst of a storm. Your soul will know peace and tranquility when you allow God to lead. He leads his sheep besides the stilled waters and restores our souls.
- Lead you in the paths of righteousness for His name sake: The Lord will never allow you to stray when you yield to His leading. You will be led and helped in the paths of righteousness because of His name sake.
I believe that God wants you to experience His goodness and leading; may you yield and feel the full blessing! He leads by His word! He will lead by His Spirit and lead through the pastors He appoints for us. Receive the grace to walk the path and the journey!
