Fulfilling Our Mandate

On Saturday 29th of April 2017, in the early hours of the day, the voice of the Lord walked majestically into my hotel room. He began to open my understanding into the scriptures. The voice spoke clearly to my spirit, He said ‘your mandate is to go into the world and preach the gospel‘.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15 KJV)

Note the key words ‘go into the world’. In this age and time what does it mean to go into the world? Indeed, the time is far spent and we cannot reach the world unless we can engage diverse means of communication that can reach men and women from all walks of life.

‘Doing business without advertising is like winking at a woman in the dark’, it is said. I propose that to do the business of church without a concerted effort to reach the world through mass media is like sitting on the back of a tortoise to travel from east to west; you will get there but then the times would have changed so much that your message would be irrelevant.

Beloved, if we are serious about fulfilling this mandate of reaching the world; then it is time to engage media of mass communication to penetrate the high walls we have built. The print, radio, television and social media must be used effectively.

This calls for partnership; we cannot continue to walk on foot alone to preach the gospel. The foot work even becomes effective when we have broadcast widely.

I pray that the Lord shall raise you as a partner of this ministry as we arise to reach the world. It’s time to give and volunteer. We must be ready to pay for and use mass media to reach the masses.

Remember, the words of the prophets, Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure:(See Isaiah 5:14), we cannot shrink or narrow our effort.

We stop the operations of any evil power resisting our ability to raise the funds to use mass media to preach the gospel. I rebuke any evil power resisting our access to mass media in the nations right now in the name of Jesus!

I pray for the release of funds and expertise to use mass media to publish the gospel in Jesus’ name!
