Potential is latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness. It is usually unrealized ability, and I believe everyone should discover his or her potential and fully manifest it.
Many of us have undiscovered abilities. You must be willing to arise and work out your potential. Your abilities and potential should not rot, you must engage them.
The following are simple secrets to stir up and maximize your potential;
You must discover these latent abilities and develop them;
You either seek to find your untapped abilities, or as the eagle sometimes stirs up the nest to challenge its chicks, you must find your rhythm in the face of the adverse conditions of your life.
[Deuteronomy 32:9-17 KJV] “For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape. But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not”.
Start where you are, with what you have, and with who you have;
Decide to be consistent and steady in your journey. Whether you move fast or slow, determine to be steadfast in your journey.
[Acts 2:40-42 KJV] “And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers“.

Discover your core competences and use it to your advantage:
When God called Moses, He asked him what he had in his hands. All are not apostles, nor prophets, nor evangelist, yet all of us have something.
[Romans 12:3-8 KJV] “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness”.
Determine to work with a team:
We all have gifts that differ; we become our best when we learn to work together with others. Develop a team to work with you. Teamwork makes the team work, remember.
We can all arise to manifest our full potential. Our dormant gifts must manifest. You must maximize your gifts.
