Matthew 6:9-13 ESV — “Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. [10] Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. [11] Give us this day our daily bread, [12] and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”
[13] “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
[10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
[13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.“
We are trusting God to deliver us from evil. We are believing God we will escape the traps and snares of darkness. Let us pray that the Lord will lead us away from temptations and deliver us from evil.
If you really want deliverance from evil, then;
- Fast and pray: Sometimes the spirit is willing be the flesh is weak. When we fast and pray, we are able to bring forth anything that must come forth. So many things won’t come forth, except by fasting and prayer.
- Keep yourself from idols, cursed objects, and strange children. Once you stay away from idols and cursed objects, you are ready to walk away from evil. The whole world lies in wickedness but the wicked one does not touch those who keep themselves from idols.
- Seek to know the truth: You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free
- Be vigilant and sober and resist the devil steadfastly in faith: You will escape the snares of darkness when you learn to be vigilant. If Samson had dealt with Delilah steadfastly, the story would have been different.
I pray that God will make grace abound to you that you shall escape the schemes of darkness. You are bless and cannot be bound.
