Mid-week Prayers

[Judges 5:1‭-‬2 NLT]“On that day Deborah and Barak son of Abinoam sang this song: “Israel’s leaders took charge, and the people gladly followed. Praise the Lord!”

Praise the Lord, it is mid-week. I want to teach and exhort from the song of Deborah after God worked the victory for His people.

It was in such a time when an adversary rose against the people of God. The nobles of Israel were afraid to arise and Barak could not until the woman Deborah arose.

There can always come such a time in the life of a nation or a generation when a formidable enemy or challenge could arise. We saw such a season in the year 2020; the times were hard and uncertain. We lost many comrades, even men and women that we needed. There was massive resignation and departure from the missions but I understood, that two things will save the mission from failing.

The pastoral team and I must arise, then the remnant will follow as we control the enemy and adversary that had risen to sink the boat and the mission. In that season I could not trust any mortal man or woman; I had to turn to God. The archers had hit sore at me that I was almost disillusioned. I knew at that time that it was one of two things: I either had to arise to fight or stay home and die! I took the challenge by the grace of God and we arose to fight.

It was time for less and more work! I resolved to shut and fight. I say to the glory of God that though the rejection and betrayal we had suffered had a toll on me; the remnant stood solidly with us and fought along. It was bleak and dark. The times were very uncertain but we resolved to remain resolute.

There was one thing that remained on my mind; If we were ever going to reach and possess destiny, it will require a fight! We resolved to wage good warfare according to the prophecy that had gone before us. We declared war and fought for the word to manifest. God bless you for standing with us.

We, Deborah and Barak, arose, the leaders come along and the people followed. God honoured their faith. Though some of the people remained undecided and others stood aloof; God gave speed and help to those who stood and fought! As we arise this Wednesday to pray and to believe, the Lord will cause the stars and the torrential currents of the rivers to fight on our behalf to augment our efforts. The LORD shall stir the faith and heart of women like Jael to finish the enemy. May the Lord raise the modern-day Jael to subdue Syria! Receive help in the name of Jesus Christ!

Mid-week Prayers

Let us arise and begin to pray.

Pray that every word that is spoken, the prophecies and desires on our hearts shall be fulfilled! This is the time to war a good warfare! We decree that every enemy that is rising shall fall in the name of Jesus Christ! I decree that the desires of your heart shall be fulfilled in the name of Jesus Christ! Pray that the Lord will watch over His word to perform! “Father, watch over Your word to perform in the mighty name of Jesus!”

“That right now! We subdue even adversary or Projections of the wicked against us in the name of Jesus! Any adversary that is risen because of our opened doors and progress must fall and be subdued in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Great and effectual doors are commanded open; therefore, we decree the fall and breaking of any adversary and evil Projections! We decree that the Lord shall subdue every enemy before us in the name of Jesus!” Be in charge in every area of your life! Subdue giants and evil projections!

“That right now! In the name of Jesus Christ! We plead for the release of grace, strength, helpers, pillars, spiritual elements like stars and torrential currents to discomfit the enemy; and give us speed.” Receive grace, wisdom, strength and speed to win the battle this week. May the rest of the week be fruitful! May you see great amplification to your effort in the name of Jesus Christ!

I have no doubt that God will help you to win! Receive multiplication and advance. May you never lack progress and speed! Be blessed!
