Genesis 1:1-3, 26-29 KJV — In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. [29] And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
The Bible teaches that the path of the just as a shinning light, shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day. What shall the righteous do when the enemy messes up their lives and causes void and darkness cover the face of their lives? What should you do when things go wrong? What can the saint do when things mess up? How do the righteous navigate through mess, gloom, and darkness?
We learn that God created heaven and the earth, and something happened on the face of the earth; that made the earth void and dark. What do you do when void and darkness covers your marriage, business, ministry, and health? What do you do when everything seems to go wrong?
- Pray that the hand of the Lord will sustain you. Never act in anger nor fear. The first thing you do is to maintain your composure. Don’t act in anger or fear; stay strong in faith and conviction.
- Pray that the presence of the Lord will be activated and actively present with you. When the Spirit of the Lord is actively moving in your life and space, things change!
- Pray that the Lord will guide your lips to speak life. Pray and speak life even in the situation of death. Pray that light will shine in your darkness and that His will will be done and not yours. Sometimes, God uses the pain to direct your life. Sometimes, God uses the pain to deliver your soul from deception.
- Pray that God will awaken your creativity and ingenuity, so that you will know what to do in the midst of the darkness and mess! May the Lord make you smarter and courageous to weather the storm! May you never fail nor fall!
You will not crash! God will see you through these difficult times and cause you to see change in the name of Jesus Christ!
