[2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV] “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty”.
The Bible tells us that, “now, the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty”.
Which Spirit is he talking about? The Spirit we minister. Now read this!
[2 Corinthians 3:1-12 KJV] “Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others , epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? [2] Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [3] Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. [4] And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: [5] Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
[6] Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. [7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. [10] For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. [11] For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. [12] Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:”
That Spirit is the words (the rhema) we speak. As I am preaching to you, I am speaking life and spirit, and that Spirit is the Lord.
[John 6:63 KJV] “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.
I will recommend that each of us stay in an atmosphere of the word, because we are changed into the same glory that we behold. The change is gradual and stage-wise, but the change comes anyway. The Bible tells us that “we changed from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”.
[2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV] “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”.
The Bible tells us in Acts 10:44, that as Cornelius and his household sat at the feet of apostle Peter and he spoke about the word, the Holy Ghost fell on all of them, and they prayed in tongues and prophesied.
[Acts 10:44-46 KJV] “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. [45] And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. [46] For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter”,
His word is not ordinary, it shall not return to Him void, it shall accomplish that for which it was sent.
[Isaiah 55:11 KJV] “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”.
As we preach about Christ, the Lord is that Spirit that you recieve. Staying in an atmosphere of the word, is the best thing that can happen to you.
In Exodus 34:29-33, Moses face began to shine as the sun after he wrote just ten statements that the Lord gave Him. Just ten commandments!
The word of God is quick and powerful; sharper than any two edged sword. Be blessed!
I love you;
