Today is your covenant day of restored peace. The Lord shall restore to you your peace. Anything that tracks you to steals your peace shall be disarmed and destroyed.
God knows that one of the greatest needs of life is peace and He is ready to restore our peace. This peace I am talking about is not such as the world gives but the supernatural work of God in us that helps us to maintain calm and sanity even in the midst of storms and chaos. God will supernaturally restore to you peace that you have never known, and nothing can steal or rob you of that peace.
The following keys will help you as you go through life;
1. Build your life on the word:
If you want to live fear, panic, and terror-free, then build your life on the words of Christ. Anyone who hears the word and does them is as a wise man who built his house upon the rock. When the floods come and storms hit he shall not be afraid. When the storm hit and beat upon your house, just relax.
2. Preserve the unity of the Spirit in a bond of peace:
You will enjoy greater peace when you strive to be one mind with others who serve with you. The apostle wanted the women serving in the church to be of one mind. We must strive to coexist with other believers to maintain our peace.
I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3. Rejoice always:
Keeping a cheerful spirit has a way of preserving your peace. Sometimes, we expect too much from people and are too inquisitive. I pray that each of us will maintain our praise. We will learn to praise God even in the storm.
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
4. Be moderate:
Do you really want peace, then be moderate and let your moderation be made known. Many are getting frustrated because they are not moderate or temperate in their expectations and cravings.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
5. Be anxious for nothing, pray instead!:
No matter what you do, there comes a time when the storms begin to hit and you must be careful not to be anxious. Our peace must not be subject to the events and situations we find ourselves in. The best we can do when the storms hit is to pray.
[Philippians 4:2, 4-7 KJV] “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.
When you feel cast down, lift up your eyes and hope in the Lord.
[Psalms 42:5-8 KJV] “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life”.
May your peace be restored now. May you walk in peace and tranquility. May the Lord restore your peace.
