I want to exhort you on the need to desire a fresh outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Technically, we may not need another outpouring, but rather, a stirring of the presence of the Spirit of God in us. We need Him every hour; He is the most gracious Lord. He has a tender voice.
We need to understand that the coming of the Holy Spirit is not an end, but the birth and ushering in of an era. The coming of the Holy Spirit was to usher in the birth of an era. It breaks my heart when it seems as though the church has shut the Holy Ghost out of the church. We have no fellowship nor relationship with Him. I pray that God will pour on us a fresh unction to function. I pray that the coming of the Holy Ghost will restore in us a fresh sense of values and virtue.
Some things will follow the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us that in these last days God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. There is an outpouring; the spirit has already been given and we must be ready to enjoy the blessing that follows the outpouring.
[Acts 2:14-21 KJV] “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;”
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:”
“And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:”
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”.
The Bible is clear on what will follow the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. The Bible says that when the Holy Ghost comes.
The following are four of the keys things and blessings that will, and must follow the outpouring of the Holy Spirit:
1. Abundant revelations:
After the outpouring of the Holy Ghost and the stirring of His presence among us, there must be abundant revelations. The young among us should be seeing visions and old men shall be dreaming dreams. None should be groping in darkness. We must have abundant revelations and know which way to go.
I speak over your life that you shall never lack direction. After the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, you don’t necessarily need a prophet to know the mind of God. You have what it takes to see visions and dream dreams.
This is one of the key characteristics that must characterize the aftermath of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost: the abundant revelations. The generation of the spirit must walk in revelations; young people must see visions, and old men should dream dreams. There shall be abundant revelations. This is the result of the outpouring. This is why we must desire to receive the baptism and stirring of the Holy Spirit.
2. Prophecy and inspired speaking:
We must receive a new tongue to speak the oracles of God over our own lives and others. Prophesying must abound among us. We should be able to speak to one another to lift our spirits. We should have a voice that can lift the spirits of others.
We are each other’s prophet. The church is supposed to be the company of prophets that sing and dance and play instruments and prophesy to one another. When we gather, each of us must have something to offer. One must have a tongue, the other a revelation, the other a psalm, and another, a revelation. Everyone must have something to offer for the growth of the body. That is the new testament church.
[1 Corinthians 14:26 KJV] “How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.”
3. The third thing is the abounding showing of signs and manifestations:
God promised to show us signs in the days of the Spirit. The days of the Spirit are the days of signs and manifestations. There should be mighty manifestations in the heavens and the earth. God is and must be at work among us.
Let us pray that there shall be mighty manifestations to communicate the meaning of the times and seasons to us. Imagine a world without clouds, who would prepare for rains. Signs and manifestations are important to warn and get us ready. May we never miss the signs and manifestations!
4. Prayer and salvation:
Salvation comes from the Greek word, ‘Sozo’, meaning, to save, heal, deliver, protect, redeem, etc; The Bible teaches that salvation, healing, deliverance, redemption, and protection shall be the portion of those who call upon God.
The Bible says the days of the Spirit are the days of answered prayer. Those who dare call upon Him shall be saved. This is the hour and the moment to call and be saved. Don’t waste any more time, just call upon Him. God is just a prayer away.
Stay blessed
