[Colossians 2:13-15 KJV] “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.“
An ordinance is a local law, there are many things that may work against you because of where you live but won’t affect others. Ordinances are municipality-specific. They are laws and regulations that is not covered by the whole law.
Apostle Paul teaches that there are some ordinances that were written against us. This should inform you that different things means different things to different people. We want to rise and deal with handwriting of ordinances that were contrary to our lives. We must arise and handle it in prayer!
- Father, we nail to the cross every handwriting of ordinances which are contrary to our lives. Any thing emanating from our family and background working against us is nailed to the cross. We nail it to the cross in the name of Jesus Christ!
- Father we superimpose the new covenant over the curses that were written against us.
- We decree that any evil agent, witches, wizards, rivers, demons and deities trying to enforce this verdict are bound. We subdue them and bind them in the name of Jesus Christ!
