THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT “If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, Thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, And the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.”
“Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, And thou shalt have plenty of silver. For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, And shalt lift up thy face unto God. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, And thou shalt pay thy vows.”
“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: And the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up; And he shall save the humble person.” [Job 22:23-29 KJV]
A decree is an official order that has the force of law. A contrary decree is, therefore, any official order that has the force of law and works contrary to your purpose, direction, or pursuit. Some decrees are made in families and communities to restrict certain advancements. These are decrees that must be overturned and overwritten.
Many persons and families are not advancing because of contrary decrees. There are decrees that are working against many destinies and families. This is the day to overwrite contrary decrees and rise to the occasion to take charge.
Examples of decrees are firstly THE DECREE IN LABAN’S COUNTRY THAT THE ELDER SHOULD MARRY BEFORE THE YOUNGER, secondly, THE DECREE THAT DAUGHTERS COULD NOT INHERIT THEIR FATHERS (See Numbers 26:33; Numbers 36:1-10), thirdly THE DECREE THAT NONE SHALL CALL UPON ANY GOD OR PERSON FOR THIRTY DAYS IN THE DAYS OF DANIEL (See Daniel 6:12)
There are many such decrees operating and stopping many families and people from rising and advancing.
Do you know what decrees are working in your life and family line? Do you know how to overturn and overwrite them? In SOME families, there is a decree that no woman can marry honourably; in OTHER families, there is a decree that men cannot rise above certain stature and levels; yet instead FEW, there is a decree that couples can never thrive together. Many silly demonic decrees must be overturned and overwritten.
As we fast and pray on Day one, we are overturning and overwriting every contrary decree that is being enforced by demons against you and your family. Every word that God has spoken concerning you must fulfill and manifest. You must uncover, overturn, and overwrite every contrary decree operating against you.
- CAN YOU RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY AND PUT INIQUITY FAR FROM YOUR TABERNACLE?
- CAN YOU PAY YOUR VOWS?
- CAN YOU DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD, LIFT YOUR FACE TO HIM, AND PRAY?
If you will return to the Almighty, put iniquity away from your tabernacle, rejoice in the Lord, lift your face to Him, pray, and pay your vows; then the Bible says “Then shall though decree a thing and it shall come to pass.” These are the simple secrets to overwrite the contrary decrees.
If the daughters of Zelophenad could overturn and overwrite the decrees of God; you can overturn and overwrite any DECREE.
Jacob decreed that Reuben will die and not live; but by mercy Moses overturned and overwrote the decree.
“Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; Because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; Then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch”. [Genesis 49:3-4 KJV]
“Let Reuben live, and not die; And let not his men be few”. [Deuteronomy 33:6 KJV]
