I want to exhort you today on the truth that you will do well if you give yourself to reading, listening and meditating on the doctrine of Scripture.
[1 Timothy 4:13 KJV] “Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.”
The truth is, 2020 still remains the year of entering into the rest of the Lord to do the first works with the first love. This is our purpose and general agenda for the year. I have no doubt in my mind that you will do well.
Honestly, whatever is happening in this year and in your life is culminating together to work for your good. We have learned that time is a seamless flow of life; the days gone have impacted on today, and I have no doubt that today will impact on the days to come. There is, indeed, no cause for alarm!
Every miracle begins with the word of God, this is why what you do with the word determines how far you will go with God. If you want to go far with God and in life exalt the word.
- This word will make you wise (See 2 Timothy 3:15)
- This word will make your way prosperous (See Joshua 1:7-8)
- This word will guide your feet and heart from sin, strange women and the wicked (See Psalm 119:105-107)
- This word will heal and restore your health (See Psalm 107:17-20)
- This word will deliver your soul from destruction
- This word will make you fruitful (See Psalm 1:1-3)
- This word will transform and thoroughly furnish you (See 2 Timothy 3:14-17)
Apostle Paul, in teaching Timothy, exhorted him to keep the church reading, hearing and meditating on the Scriptures. This is the greatest secret to miracles and life of possibility. A reading, listening and thoughtful generation will do well. I wish that you will become a person who committedly reads, listens, and meditates on the word of God day and night.
[2 Timothy 3:14-17 KJV] “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
The power and the glorious light in the word enter and resides in your heart and being as you read, listen and meditate. The more you do it the better you become. I have no doubt that there will be more miracles and anointing in the church when we spend more time in the word.
[Galatians 3:5 KJV] “He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”
A reading and studious generation is a leading and rising generation. You will not and cannot fail when you read and study. I pray that you will rise and not fail in the name of Jesus Christ!
Stay blessed, I love you
