My message to you today is on praying prophetically for people and places.
Pray for the wisdom, the heart attitude, and mindset to submit to the people and to stay in the places that God has appointed to prosper you. When the prodigal son was with his father, he was guided and safe. When Lot stayed with Abraham he was safe and prospered.
Pray that the Lord will give you the heart and spirit to treat your subordinates well. As long as Jacob stayed with Laban, Laban prospered; as long as Joseph stayed with Potiphar, the house of Potiphar was blessed.
Pray that as you deal with people and places God will help you with prophetic insight to discern the people, powers and spirit behind people. Although Samson dealt with one Delilah, he was technically dealing with the lords of the Philistines.
When a disguised widow sent by Joab came to speak to David, it was through prophetic insight that he uncovered the man behind this ploy. There was a subtle friend behind Ammon when he was dealing with Tamar.
Every land has a strategy that works. In Egypt, they planted by irrigation; but the land of Israel drank of the water of heaven and required faith. Every place has a strategy for survival; we need to pray for the wisdom to guide us. May the Lord help you to uncover the mysterious strategy to excel in your land.
Pray that the Lord shall supply us with grace and power to subdue every territorial powers and spirit that rule in the city. Simon the sorcerer held a whole city bound, the apostles needed a higher power and grace to counter him.
