John 7:6-9 KJV — Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. [7] The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
[8] Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. [9] When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
If you want to possess the gates of time and have dominion, then;
1. Learn to number your days and apply your heart to wisdom:
There is time for everything and to every purpose there is a season. In the light of that truth, you must strive to be like the sons of Issachar to gain understanding into time and knowledge what to do and at what time. Many people miss the best seasons of their lives for certain things and decisions because they have not learnt to number their days. If you are thirty and you are dating, you can’t be asking for a phone upgrade from the guy; when he is not upgrading the relationship.
2. Pray against the law of time:
Time has a way of working for or against you. You must pray that God will order you steps and you will be at the right place, doing the right time at the right time for the right rewards. Elizabeth and Sarah needed a miracle because they were past age when finally they took seed. Mary needed a miracle for a different reason. I pray that any law of time working contrary against you must be suspended in Jesus name!
3. Pray that time and chance will resonate to work in your favour:
The Bible says the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong… but time and chance happens to all men (See Ecclesiastes 9). When time and chance dance in concert and in your favour, you experience the miracles.
4. Prepare for the right skills and abilities at the right stage of life:
In Hebrews 5:11ff, Apostle Paul reproved the church for not growing and maturing to match the season of their life. At the time when they ought to be teachers, they still had a need that another taught them. One of the pathetic things that can happen to a man is delayed growth and maturity. Every parent’s desire is that their children grow and mature to match their age. May you mature to match your age and be able to do what it takes to succeed.
