Genesis 3:1-7 KJV — Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? [2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
[3] but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. [4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: [5] for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
[6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. [7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
What began as a harmless conversation in the garden of Eden modified the whole course of nature. Many of us, many of the times, deal with subtle enemies. The smiles and empathy is enough to disguise them as friends. They mostly speak and present themselves as friends who seek your well-being but end up leading you astray and against your destiny helpers.
The serpent was more subtle than every beast of the garden and came across as a friend and counsel. It was possessed by envy; the serpent had fallen so low; the serpent was a deep and horrible pit. It came to deceive an uninformed woman. Many of us are dealing with such people. They come across as friends who seek our best, when in actual fact they are there to use us as pawns to achieve their parochial interest.
I pray that God will deliver you from such subtle enemies! May you never be influenced to lift your heel against your destiny helpers! May you escape the counsel of the ungodly! May you never be influenced to hurt your destiny helpers. The Bible says that in these last days, men shall be deceivers; deceiving and being deceived! May the Lord expose any enemies disguised as friends! May you escape the trap of deception!
The serpent knew that he was on his way out but decided to influence other angels to rebel before he was thrown out of heaven. There are people who will influence others to rebel before they unleash their grand plot. May God preserve you! Become smarter as you read this message! May you never fall into this trap in Jesus name!
Stay blessed
