Today’s scripture
Acts 4:23-31 KJV — And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. [24] And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
[25] Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, And the people imagine vain things? [26] The kings of the earth stood up, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord, and against his Christ.
[27] For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, [28] for to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
[29] And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, [30] by stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
[31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Today’s exhortation
The more the church arises to preach the word and to preach Jesus, the more the kingdom of darkness will rise against the church and our attempt to preach the gospel. When the early apostles began to preach and work miracles in the name of Jesus Christ, the Sahindrin arose against the preaching of the gospel. The pseudo church, those who had a form of godliness but denied the power, rose against the true gospel. They did not want anyone to preach in the name of Jesus! They warned the apostles never to preach in the name of Jesus Christ!
This is our turn and our time to arise and fight as gallant men and women to lift the banner of Jesus. The world of darkness hates the truth and the gospel being preached; anytime we begin to preach the gospel and to preach Christ, the kingdom of darkness gets mad. Let us arise and preach the gospel! Let us preach Christ and push the gospel forward. May you arise and join me in prayer. The church must pray against the kingdom of darkness and demolish their schemes. We must fight and crush the darkness around us. This is the time and now is the hour!
Let us pray that God will stretch forth His hands and crush darkness with miracles. May the Lord stretch forth His hand and heal the sick and oppressed! May the Lord arise and crash darkness with miracles and healings and deliverance! Let us spend time in prayer in this 21 days trusting God for healing.
