Luke 22:31-32 KJV — And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
We are going to pray for restoration. We are going to pray for the restoration of faith, hope, love, glory, honour, and dignity. Sometimes, as we go through the motions of life, our faith, hope, and love degenerate. Many have lost their first love, first faith, and first hope. Most people have stopped hoping, and trusting and loving because of what they have been through and how long they have been waiting.
Their hopes have been deferred and their hearts have become sick and numb. I pray and declare however that God will restore our faith, hope, and love. I pray that we shall find our first faith and first love.
Our Lord Jesus Christ told Peter of how the devil and the enemy had Peter on his radar. He said “the enemy is seeking to sift him as wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith shall not fail.” He said “when you are converted, strengthen your brethren.”
It’s possible to fall and feel weak but it’s unacceptable to remain demoralized. This is the time and the moment to pray for restoration. He said my house shall be called the house of prayer. One of the key activities that we can engage when we come to the house of the Lord is to pray.
Prayers and declaration
