[Isaiah 11:1-5 KJV] “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:”
“ and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.”
I am exhorting you to pray lately. I wish to awake our church to a season and moment of prayer. This is the time to pray and walk into the newness of life. Prayer is that connection that will take us to the new dimension that we desire with God. A prayerless generation is a godless generation. There is no way a generation will experience God in a real dimension without first having an encounter with Him in prayer.
- Pray that the spirit of God that gives life to the mortal bodies of humans will dwell in us. Pray for that Indwelling presence of God! Pray and ask Him to strengthen you.
- Pray that God will give you the Spirit of wisdom that makes a person quick in understanding. Pray for wisdom. If any man lack wisdom, let him pray! Let him ask!
- Pray that the spirit of counsel that helps a man to increase in might will fill you. Pray for the ability to receive counsel and increase in might. Pray for that new dimension!
- Pray also that the spirit of Knowledge that makes a person fear God shall dwell in you. Pray for that new dimension. Pray that God will give you the Spirit of wisdom. Pray! Let’s pray!
Many are not excelling in life because they lack these elements of success and excellence! Pray and be endowed! This is because;
- The whole world lies in wickedness (See 1 John 5:19). It is important to understand that so much evil lies around you. The truth is evil is much closer to you than you think. Don’t look too far to locate evil; it’s close, even in your house, among the people of your household.
- Many things are not what they appear. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 admonishes us not to judge things after their outward appearance. (See 2 Corinthians 5:16). There is too much pretence in the world today; pray!
- Without the spirit of revelation, many things will slip. You will trip over many things.
May the Lord open your eyes and reveal deeper and great things to you in the name of Jesus Christ!
Stay blessed
Amen
