Acts 2:1-6 KJV — And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
[5] And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. [6] Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
The Holy Spirit always announces His presence with manifestations and utterance.
He came down as a mighty rushing wind and settled as cloven tongues of fire.
We see this at the baptism of Jesus Christ at the Jordan; the Spirit descended bodily on Him as a dove and a voice spoke.
We saw it repeated in Acts 2, when the day of Pentecost was fully come; as they sat and prayed, the Holy Ghost came down as a mighty rushing wind and settled on them. He filled them and gave them utterance. When the spirit of God comes here; we will feel Him and we will speak.
In Acts 8, during the revival in Samaria, the Holy Spirit announced His presence with manifestations and utterance. The people spoke in tongues and prophesied.
In Acts 10:44, in the house of Cornelius, we saw the same thing; the people spoke in tongues and prophesied. The Holy Spirit always has ways of announcing His presence.
I pray that God will give us the same experiences every time we gather and stand for Him. May you never lack utterance and manifestation! May our church never be without a word! May God continue to give us proofs and manifestations that shows that He dwells here by His Spirit.
