[Mark 11:20-26 KJV] “And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.“
We want to spend this meeting praying that our young ones will become great and very great.
We are bringing it to God in prayer because
The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong
[Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 KJV] “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.”
It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs but God will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.
[Romans 9:15-18 KJV] “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”
“For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.”
Our children are a heritage from the Lord and must possess the gates of the enemy
[Psalm 127:3-5 KJV] “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: And the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; So are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”
The honour of the king is in the multitude and quality of His people
[Proverbs 14:28 KJV] “In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.”
We are going to lift prayer; we desire to see our young ones excel and become great; we believe it will happen, and we are willing and ready to work for it.
Let us pray;
- Pray that God would make our young ones great. Pray that they shall excel in whatever they do and wherever they are.
- Pray that God would appoint unto us fathers, mighty fathers who love the young ones and are bold enough to correct them when they go wrong
- Pray that anything that the enemy is placing in their way to destroy them is catching fire and burning to ashes
- Pray that God shall encourage the tutors appointed for our children to raise them well.
- Pray and rebuke every horn that shall rise to scatter the young ones!
Amen
