[Luke 11:1 KJV] “And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.“
I believe that the Lord wants to teach you to pray. It is one thing to teach you how to pray and to teach you to pray. The Lord wants to take each of us through the drills of life.
Prayer of devotion
- Pray that the name of the Lord shall be hallowed. Pray that God will draw us closer to Himself. Pray that we shall have a closer relationship with God!
- Let us pray that the kingdom of God shall be established on the earth. Let the will of God be done. May the people of this generation be saved and added to the church. Pray that God will save and add men to this church.
- Pray that the Lord will give us this day our daily bread. Pray that the Lord shall forgive us our trespasses. May you never lack bread! May your sins be forgiven and may you find sustenance!
- May the Lord deliver each of us from evil; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Pray for deliverance and leading in the name of Jesus. (See Matthew 6:9-13)
Prayer for missions
- Pray that the world, that as we step out tomorrow, the Word of God shall have its free course with others, as it had with us. Pray that the Word in your mouth shall deliver results and impact lives like never before.
- Pray that the Lord shall deliver us from wicked and unreasonable men. May the Lord give us wisdom as serpents. May Jehovah sharpen our understanding and make us smarter at winning souls.
- Lift your voice and pray that the Lord shall anoint and empower us to cast out devils, heal the sick, and preach with power!
Stay blessed
