2 Corinthians 4:1-7 KJV — “Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; [2] but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”
[3] “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4] in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. [5] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.”
[6] “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. [7] But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.“
It’s important to note that we are not here by accident; in fact, we are called and graced to RE-present Christ to the circle, community, and world around us!
The first step to soulwinning is prayer (See 1 Timothy 2:1-8). We learn this from on of the greatest soul winners of the early church, Apostle Paul.
It’s important to remember that the preaching of the gospel is the power of God to save souls. (See Romans 1:16). Christ have chosen to save the world by the foolishness of the preaching of gospel.
We want to pray intensely for souls as we embark on the Jesus Campaign this season.
- Pray and arrest the thoughts of all men and women to the obedience of Christ (See 2 Corinthians 10:3-7). Cast down every strongholds and wrong imaginations that prevent people from believing the gospel.
- Uproot an doctrines that does not align with the doctrine Christ. Cast down false teachings and hollow philosophies. Cut off false science. We withstand any hollow philosophies falsely called science.
- Decree and cut off the influence of darkness over the cities and communities of the world. Proclaims righteousness, peace, and salvation over the cities
- Decree that the veil of blindness be removed. Declare that all men are coming to the knowledge of the truth
