I want to speak to you about the will of God being done on earth as it is in Heaven.
[Matthew 6:9-10 KJV] “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”.
I believe the Lord Jesus Christ wants the will of God to be done on the earth as it is done in Heaven. Apart from praying that the will of God will be done on the earth as it is in heaven; we must also persuade people to do the following;
1. Strive to know and prepare to do the will of God:
Every servant must know and prepare himself to do the will of his master. That is the way it ought to be. We must strive to know and to do the will of God.
[Luke 12:47 KJV] “And that servant, which knew his Lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes”.
2. Reject the pattern of the world and offer ourselves as living sacrifices unto God:
Romans 12:1-3 teaches that when we reject the pattern of the world and rather begin to offer ourselves sacrificially to the will of God, then the will of God will be accomplished in the world.
3. Serve your generation by the will of God:
Acts 13:36 teaches us that after David served his generation according to the will of God, he fell on sleep. We must serve our generation according to the will of God. We must all be contributing to serving our generation.
4. See doing the will of God as our necessary food:
In John 4, our Lord Jesus Christ saw doing the work of God and finishing it as His necessary food. We must live by bread, the word, and the work of God; that must be our daily bread. This is how the will of God may be done on earth. We must get to that place in life where each one of us is so concerned about doing the work of God.
5. Walk in the volumes of the books:
We must strive to walk in the volumes of the books. We must be ready to obey the Scriptures and to walk in them.
[Hebrews 10:5-7 KJV] “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”
I believe with these new tips, we can see the will of God done in the earth as it is in heaven.
I love you
