[John 14:30 KJV] “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me”.
Many of us often wonder why things have not worked well in our lives. But I will be learning in this message that many of us fail because we have been fighting the wrong enemy all this while. Although unaware of this truth, many of us are still caught up in a fiercely raging spiritual battle
The truth remains that we are caught in the middle of a fierce battle, a battle that affects all of us, no one is exempted. We must, therefore, pay attention to how we can engage the enemy with truth and win.
There are two ways to victory;
- Yield to the beck and call, and the whims and caprices of the kingdom of darkness, or
- Resist their principal man fiercely in the faith.
Many have yielded but many more are resisting. The greatest danger is that there are many who are pretending to be resisting but are secretly enjoying the benefits and pleasures of evil. Such people are enemies of the cross, who worship their belly.
If you are deciding to resist, it is important to understand that there are two key forces fighting you;
1. Your internal dynamics called strongholds:
This refers to your imaginations, high things (knowledge), and thoughts.
[2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV] “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: [4] (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) [5] Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; [6] And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
2. The external aggressions:
Principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
[Ephesians 6:10-14 KJV] “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. [11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
[13] “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. [14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;”
It is important to state that the extent to which you can fight these external forces is largely determined by the health of your internal dynamics. The hoards of hell may rage against you but as long as your internal dynamics are healthy, you are prepared and positioned to win. A man is drawn away by his own lust and is tempted. This is why unhealthy internal dynamics will trap you, and make you susceptible to demonic aggression.
I pray that we shall all pay attention to dealing with our own internal dynamics because that is how we become more prepared to handle the external aggressions. The devil is always seeking a way to trap and destroy you. Many destinies have been destroyed because the custodians were not vigilant. Many destinies have been shipwrecked because the captains took the traps of the enemy for granted.
Prepare for war! Be vigilant! Stay strong and press on!
I love you!
