What are the prophetic keys for growth and increase?
Having studied both the master and prayer keys for growth and increase, we want to move on to study the prophetic keys for growth and increase.
We will look into the Scriptures to understand the keys that bring supernatural increase. The story of feeding five thousand teaches the great secrets to increase.
“After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias. And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.”
“And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh. When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.”
“One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.”
“And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.”
“Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.”
The story of Jesus feeding five thousand with five loaves of bread reveal some deep revelation. The feeding of five thousand with five leaves did not happen in vacuum. It is a story of compassion, brainstorming, giving, thanksgiving, system and order.
The Lord had compassion on the people and the disciples were willing to brainstorm to find a way out. In the middle of the brainstorming, a little boy was willing to give his lunch box to the disciples. The increase came because the Lord gave thanks; organised the people and shared in an orderly manner.
1. Compassion:
People who solve problems that turns to millions are those who care enough to solve other people’s problem. Think about this carefully.
In this age of Covid-19, those will make millions from the challenge, are those who care enough to spend nights and days to find a cure for others.
Our Lord Jesus experienced the supernatural increase because He cared about the multitudes, He put others first and cared enough to be part of the solution.
2. Brainstorming:
Those who care will think. This is the time to ask the right questions if you want to see increase. The Lord asked the disciples about how to find food to feed the discouraged masses. They began to think but the Lord knew what He will do. May the Lord help us to know what to do. Recieve ideas and strategies that work.
3. Giving:
The Bible says “give and it will come back to you; a good measure, press down, shaken together, running over…”
[Luke 6:38 KJV] “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
We will experience increase when we are ready to give. We must be ready to give and God will bring increase
4. Thanksgiving:
Thanksgiving is a secret to increase. When we learn to be thankful, God brings the multiplication.
5. Systems and order:
These are two of the most important keys to sustain the increase. The Lord wanted the people to sit in groups of fifty. You must have strategies that work.
