“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” (Habakkuk 2:1-4 KJV)
What you see is as equally important as what you become. If you can visualise and keep the image before your eyes; you will walk into the substance and reality of it. Those who wait upon the Lord receive the visions of the Lord.
Many years ago the Lord told Abraham to count the stars of the night. What he saw was what he was looking forward to! When Abraham the Father of Faith came to the promise land, he was seeking for a city whose builder and designer is God. He was looking forward to dwell in a city of gold.
Everyone of us must see and publish our goals and visions. Those who don’t commit to prayer and set goals are arrogant and perverse. You must see the future and the way forward. You must trust God to show you what the future holds and commit yourself to it. Set and keep godly goals.
The Prophet Habbakuk did not use his mnd; he committed himself to find the mind and will of God. He said “I will stand upon my watch and see what I will answer when I am questioned”.
I pray that you will spend time in the presence of God as we wait to know His will. We want to wait till we see and we will run with what we write. You will make it! You will not fail! You will find the way forward!
Stay blessed; I love you!
