1 Samuel 30:8-10 KJV — “And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. [9] So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed. [10] But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.“
I want to bring you to the place of calling and obedience that you are willing to pray and partner with me to pursue and recover all the enemy has stolen! This is the time to pursue and Recover all, Restore, and Redeploy.
If we can recover all, Restore and Redeploy, it will take the following;
- Discernment: You must even know what is lost to know what to pursue to recover. Sometimes, you have lost things you still hold on to. Many things die from the roots, so you see the death when it is too late. We must discern what was freely give to us even before we can understand what we lost.
- Divine clearance or pass: You need to enquire from God and secure a spiritual pass to pursue. David requested the Ephod and consulted with God before he pursued. Prayer, altar prayer, is going to play an important role in recovering, restoring, and redeploying.
- Passion from within for relentless pursuit. Some people may get faint and exhausted; we just have to allow them to rest! A third of the men fainted along the way but because there was a will, it did not stop anything. You must be passionate to finish the course.
- People to stand with you. You need some die hard followers who would not relent until the enemy is vanquished. The quest to recover lost souls is not for the faint hearted. It’s work and require a till-death-do-us-a-part committment! May God stir the hearts of the people to stand with you in the name of Jesus!
We must obey the mandate to pursue and recover all the enemy stole. We must recover both the souls, the goods and the things.
Stay blessed
