”For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV)
We are making a journey with Jesus. We are travelling with Him to a holy city and none may be lost along the way. I am pressed in my spirit to preach the message of the cross across the world because soon and very soon Jesus Christ will come again. Jesus Christ is coming and coming quickly. I will be preaching and I need one person to do the singing.
In any case, Jesus is coming again. He will come himself; He is coming down from heaven to take us home. How do we know that He has not come already? We know because He will not come as in a private event; He will come in a spectacular manner that all eyes will see Him. He will come from heaven with;
- a shout,
- A voice of an archangel
- The trump of God
- The rising of the dead
- The catching up of those who believe and are alive.
Would you be ready when Jesus Christ shall come? Would you be ready? Pay attention to four things
- Your conduct
- Your ministry
- Your worship
- Your benediction or blessing
Would you be ready when Jesus Christ shall come? Would you be ready?
- Be born again
- stay awake
- Be sober
- Put on faith, love, and the hope of salvation
- Comfort and edify one another
- Know and esteem highly in love, those who labour among you, and are over you and admonish you.
- Learn to do your own business quietly to be able to live an honest life
Would you be ready when Jesus Christ shall come? Would you be ready?
- Warn the unruly
- Comfort the feeble minded
- Support the weak
- Be patient towards all men
- Don’t render evil for evil, but ever follow that which is good
- Pray for your pastors
- Share this word with others
Would you be ready when Jesus Christ shall come? Would you be ready?
- Rejoice forever more
- Pray without ceasing
- In all things give thanks
- Quench not the spirit
- Despise not prophesying
- Prove all things and hold fast to that which is good
- Abstain from all appearances of evil
Would you be ready when Jesus Christ shall come? Would you be ready?
May the Lord sanctify and preserve you.
