Never rest on your oars, but rather, press on to become the best version of what God created you to be.
Remember that you can rise from where you are to anywhere you can be. Your aspiration should be to conform to the image of the dear Son of God, Jesus Christ. The simple hints to pursue this agenda include:
Separate yourself unto godliness and your purpose.
There is a cause for which you were created and set apart. The Holy Spirit in Acts 13 instructed the church to separate Barnabas and Paul for the work He had called them to. The first and most important step in fulfilling a divine calling is to be separated.
Pray intensely! Pray without ceasing in faith; don’t forget to pray.
Let us pray without ceasing. There is so much evil we are faced with in this season of life. Prayer is one of the most effective ways to both vent and secure help in the day of need. Let us pray! Men who pray find help and stay in charge.
Deliberately groom and brand yourself, both personally and corporately.
Beautify! Men will always look on the outward, but God will look at the heart. People will see how you look before they hear what you say; never forget that you don’t have control over how people will treat you, so play by the rules. Present yourself the way you want to be addressed.
Hype your business and not your private life. One of the common mistakes many young people make today is how they seem to want to show their business to everyone. You are all over social media displaying yourself; are you for sale? Let us learn to hide and flourish quietly; the world is dark. Even Jesus didn’t reveal Himself until it was His time.
I have no doubt that there is a future. Though your beginning may be small, your end shall greatly increase. Change is coming; arise and run into the battle.
