What Must I Do To Be Saved?

“And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:30-31 KJV)

Today’s Reading: Acts 16:16-34

Today, we will be sharing on one of the most important truths in the word of God: what each one of us must do to be saved.

Indeed, the end of all things is drawing to a close. Time and tide is waiting for no man. Soon and very soon we shall all die and the reality of salvation shall dawn on us. We shall all rise out of the dead, if we happen to die before His second coming.

When we rise from the dead, some will rise to eternal peace and others to eternal retribution. If a man or woman dies without Christ, he or she will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire (See Revelations 19:20, Revelations 20:10, Revelations 20: 14-15).

What then must we do to escape the pain that will come upon the earth?  Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shall be saved. This is the only way to escape the coming judgement. The big difference is your faith in Jesus Christ.

Going to church cannot save you, serving in missions cannot save you, being the son or spouse of the pastor cannot save you, casting out devils cannot save you. There is only one step to salvation: believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved.

This is the single thing you must do to be saved. Please, remember that if you die without Christ, you will perish without Christ. Believe that He died in your place so that you might live in eternal peace. Amen!

Today’s Prayer

Dear Father, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, I declare that Jesus is Your Son Who died in my place and on the third day, You raised Him from the dead.

I accept this act of love in faith. From today, I will sow this faith and nature it to fruitfulness.

Amen!
