Jeremiah 29:12-14 KJV — “Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. [13] And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. [14] And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.“
I want to exhort you, speak and assure you that; how far you have drifted and how long you have drifted cannot stop what God has promised to do, if you can return to the Lord. You are on the mind of God and He thinks about you daily.
The Lord has given three assurances here:
The Lord hears those who go to pray and seek Him.
Let us arise and seek the Lord. Come to the prayer meeting and seek His face. He will hear and answer you. The Lord will not forever hide His face. Grace to save and restore is available to all who seek the Lord.
Those who seek Him with all their heart, will find Him
The Lord is not far from those who seek Him with all their heart. It is one thing to seek the Lord but another level all together to seek Him with all your heart. Those who seek the Lord with all their heart find Him. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. May you find your way back home where you belong! May you not linger and wander too long in the wilderness of life; “the way of a transgressor is hard!“
The Lord will turn away our captivity, and gather us from the nations.
We will increase with men like a flock. I hear the voice of the Holy Ghost call the wanderer home as we pray. This is the day and the time to return to the Lord. Harden not your heart! Return and be restored. Heaven is waiting to rejoice over you. Remember from where you have fallen, repent and begin to do the first works.
Prayer points
- Father, I thank you that those who seek you with all their hearts can find you. Help us to find our way back.
- May the new day dawn! May today mark the beginning of my return to faith and power! I rebuke the voice of darkness that drives people away.
- May our sons and daughters gather to worship at the feet of the Lord away! May you not miss the blessing of feeding at the Kings table! May your soul dwell at His presence where there is the fullness of joy!
- I decree the release of anyone held captive. Receive the liberty and freedom in the name of Jesus!
