21 Days of Breaking Limits
[Matthew 5:7,14-16 KJV] “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven”.
On this 9th day of Breaking Limits, we are trusting God to receive the grace to shine out of obscurity. You will not die in obscurity. God wants to save and raise you to shine out of obscurity. You are the light of the world; you are ignited by light to overcome your internal darkness and to stay aglow to give light to the people in your household.
I prophesy to you today that you will shine. Your influence will go far. Your marriage will be a model marriage. Your business will not be behind; Your luminance will be seen from far. Many shall come to that light (See Isaiah 60).
There are 7 key things that will help you to shine out of obscurity. We work with our hands as everyone else, we marry and pay dowry as all others, buy with money in the market as all others, yet we play by different rules. We may be selling in the market as all others, yet we play by different set of rules.
If you really want to shine from obscurity, you need;
1. Jesus:
You cannot shine when you have no light in yourself. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the light that ignites every man who comes to the face of the world.
Our prayer is, Father, as we arise from our sleep, let Christ give us light! Give us light, great light, that greater light!
[John 1:7-9 KJV] “The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. [9] He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world”.
Awake and give us light. Cause us to shine from within to reflect Your glory. Let every one of us begin to glow with amber and fervency!
[Ephesians 5:14 KJV] “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light”.
2. Commitment:
Father, help me to be committed to this family of God. I know, I have believed to belong. Help me to be committed to the doctrine and fellowship of my pastor, his prayer, and the breaking of bread. Help us to be committed to the brotherhood and the fear of the Lord!
3. Connection:
Dear God, engraft me into the true vine. Uphold me with Your hand. Let me be properly added to Your church. Make me a pillar in Your house. Place me in the spiritual house You are building. I pray for the strength to stay connected to the brethren. Help me to live in such a way that will grow the brotherhood. Purge away from me any anti-social behaviour!
4. Growth:
Father, help me to give up anything that fights my growth. Feed me with sincere milk. Give me the courage to accept the truth that can cause me to grow and mature healthily. Indeed, We desire to rule as heirs, and princes, and kings.
5. Ministry:
Father open unto us doors of ministry to serve our generation. Help us to serve with fervency, diligence, and faithfulness. I receive grace to serve in secular and kingdom vocation with excellence, might and wisdom.
6. Sacrifices:
The only way a candle can shine is when it is willing to burn.
Father, give us the grace and the willing heart to give and sacrifice for the common good of humanity. Lord, as we give and sacrifice in the coming days, bless it and let our sacrifice and giving be acceptable and pleasing to You.
7. Endurance:
Many of us don’t shine out of obscurity because we don’t last. Many of us think only of the present, and not about posterity or the future. Without endurance, many of us will not shine. Many people of faith were never mentioned in the Scriptures until the tail end of their lives; consider people like Anna, Simeon, and Abraham.
Dear God, Give us grace to last; Grace to endure; Grace to overcome; May we never fail or fall short by the way!
You will shine and your influence will extent to nations and kingdoms!
Be blessed, I love you!

praise the Lord!!! I’m blessed by this message. I spent time to read your book “Living a Wide Life On A Narrow Path” , and then I understood clearly what it means to shine out of obscurity.
I now know that all I’ve got to do is endeavour to shine. It embraces all the facets of live even eternal life.
God bless you, Bishop.
