I have seen many lives destroyed because the people had taken decisions that were inspired by devils but they thought they were their own decisions. There are many people who are walking around under the heavy influence of devils and they are not aware. Many people are possessed and controlled by devils yet they are not even aware that something else is driving them.
[Mark 5:1-7 KJV] “And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. [2] And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, [3] Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:”
[4] “Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. [5] And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones:”
[6] “But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, [7] And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.”
Here are sure signs that your condition is fueled by devils:
1. You are confrontational or have strong hatred or resentment for people of God:
I have no doubt that people who hate godly people and are filled with rage toward those who profess God are filled with devils. You see that the man confronted the Lord and his twelve when they came to the coast. There are many people who express disgust, pass derogatory remarks about God’s worship and people of God. Anyone who suggests that serving God is a waste of time and the reason people are poured and destroyed have devils.
2. Isolation, withdrawal, and anti-social choices:
People with devils often withdraw and want to be alone. They have paranoid ideas that make them think that everyone hates them, they are public enemies, they can not trust anyone, etc. The man with devils went to live in tombs; he left the house. Prodigality is a sign of demonic possession.
3. Having constant thoughts of suicide or thinking it’s better to be dead than to be home:
There people who will rather leave in tombs and ghettos and dry places than to be home with friends and family. The man with the devils left home came to live in the cemetery and was cutting himself with stones and crying. He was hurting himself and crying and could not stop. He feels so hurt that hurting himself further did not matter anymore.
4. Being out of control and not easily tamed, or when you want to do only what you want:
The guy could not be bound or tamed. No man could bind him, no one could control him, no one could tell. him what to do. These are all signs of demonic infestations.
5. Reacting violently and proudly to rebukes:
Listen, anytime you see rebukes and corrections as a sign of hate and rejection, it is a sign that the devils of death and destruction are attacking you. People possessed by devils don’t heed or hear rebukes. Though the man sounded religious and came to worship; he did not want to be told that anything was wrong with him. When the Lord rebuked the devils and attitude in him; he interpreted it as a rejection of who he was.
That is when you hear people say “I am a lesbian or homosexual; telling me to repent is like rejecting who I am.” No! That is not who you are. You are feeling that way and responding that way because of the work of devils in your heart.
[Mark 5:8-10 KJV] “For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. [9] And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. [10] And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.”
6. When people who relate with you become influenced and copy your sinful choices:
You should be worried when people who relate with you get poisoned by your poor choices. When the demons left and possessed the pigs; they run into the sea and got drowned. When the devils were in the man, he was cutting himself with stones and crying.
[Mark 5:11-17 KJV] “Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. [12] And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. [13] And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. [14] And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done,”
[15] “And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. [16] And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine. [17] And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.”
I pray that any of us showing three or more of these signs shall begin to worship and seek a touch of the supernatural for change. If you continue this way for long, you will. lose friends, family, and time. I pray that you will personally arise and desire change. You should allow the Lord and the truth and the power of God to touch and liberate you. Every devil harassing you must give away and cause you to arise!
