You were redeemed and appointed for more. Jesus Christ came that you might have and abound with life. You are not destined to be stagnant in your life. You are called to walk into greater, bigger and better.
It’s important to understand two things:
- Greater, bigger, and better does not happen in vacuum. There are certain action steps that lead there.
- There is an enemy and adversary that comes only with the agenda to steal, kill, and destroy.
The simple steps to walk into greater, bigger, and better are:
Receive
Many people are unable to step into greater and better because they are dull at hearing. Your ability to walk into the new levels of your life also depends on your ability to hear and receive what is brought to you by the Spirit. When the Lord directs your path, He establishes your going.
Believe
The second step into greater and better is to believe in what you are told. Faith is that currency that purchases what God gives freely. In Isaiah 55, when he said come and buy, he added that you who have no money should buy.
Pray
The scriptures exhort us to commit our ways into the hands of the Lord; and He will establish our going. Prayer empowers us and invites God to act on our behalf. Prayer is an invitation to God to come into the situation. Prayer is the tool that releases God’s hand to action.
Plan
It’s not enough to pray, we must also strategize and plan. Planning is part of the process to step into more. You must learn to always plan and strategize your moves. May the Lord give you the wisdom to plan the next steps that lead to greater, bigger, and better.
Do
You cannot plan and plan and plan without acting. Start with what you have, where you are and with who is with you. There is always a call to do. Whatever you plan must be acted on. Receive the grace to do what you have planned.
